He comments, “Noël Coward once sang of ‘all Park Lane in a shimmering gown,’ and nothing could feel more fitting here, especially as our bride stepped into exquisite gowns created by leading couturier Shimmering Ivory. “So, with our shoot seemingly endorsed by London’s own voice of elegance and wit – his blessing echoing through the decades – a hand-picked collective of the capital’s finest wedding creatives gathered beneath the magnificent spring sunshine to craft something far beyond a traditional styled shoot at the InterContinental London Park Lane.” The team wanted to push the boundaries with this project. As the photographer, and fully aware that he was working among the wedding elite at one of London’s most elegant addresses, Stuart’s intention was to capture the quiet refinement and understated luxury that this area effortlessly exudes, all through an editorial lens. “My signature style is rooted in capturing real emotion, and we had the perfect couple in Chris and Layla,” says Stuart. “With effortless style and intimate chemistry, they made every frame feel like a moment from a modern love story.” In the end, what the team created felt less like a styled shoot and more like a love letter to contemporary couture weddings and this extraordinary corner of London, where Mayfair meets Hyde Park.
