These lovebirds met nearly 20 years ago while working together at Debenhams. Daniella recalls, “Dan would always get told off for chatting to me for too long and distracting me from my work. We’d spend every lunchtime together and there was always something between us, but we were young and life took us on different paths. Thankfully, we found our way back to each other, and the rest is history!” The couple got engaged in September 2023 in Malta, with Dan planning every detail. Daniella shares, “On the first night of our holiday, I came out of the bathroom to find he had disappeared and I had a text from him telling me to be ready for 6:30pm and to trust him. I got the lift up to the rooftop, where a table was laid with flowers and a pianist. It was the most beautiful proposal, and we enjoyed a private dinner on the rooftop terrace as the sun was setting.” With strong ties to Chelsea, the couple chose Chelsea Old Town Hall as their wedding venue. Daniella explains, “Dan and his family are Chelsea fans, so he has spent many weekends walking up the Kinga Road to go and watch the football.” The couple embraced the festive season with their styling featuring pops of deep red/burgundy and gold touches, bringing the theme to life through thoughtful details. Daniella comments, “I had a red rose bouquet while Dan and the children had red rose buttonholes. Our table setting featured a burgundy runner and napkins, with festive touches like Christmas crackers, a long table garland with pinecones and candles intertwined and gold acrylic cut-out place names.” The wedding breakfast was a decadent affair. Daniella shares, “For starters, we had seared king scallops, followed by steak with black truffle mash and grilled veg and for dessert, a chocolate fondant.
