He offers a one-on-one service, which has proven popular for grooms wanting something more refined, without spending £5,000 on a Saville Row suit. Jason tells us, “My aim is to make wearing a suit accessible to anyone with an interest, helping men to find the confidence and swagger to do so.” He continues, “There can be a lot of psychology involved in a father-of-the-bride pulling off an extra-special suit for his daughter’s wedding. Likewise, for a groom looking to freshen up his look with a suit that stands apart from one he might wear day-to-day for work. The dynamics and impact of this form of attire are huge.” Jason describes his role as a “suit stylist broker,” he’s the go-to guy when you need a suit for a special occasion, and his knowledge extends far beyond tailoring one-of-a-kind looks. He can also offer invaluable advice on purchasing the best ready-made suits and also how to hire them for the big day. He explains, “A lot of people blindly waste money purchasing something that’s not cost effective or correct for their body type, which means it ultimately gets thrown away. I see it all the time: people buying a bad branded £600 off-the-rack suit from a high street salesperson who doesn’t care. Why not spend the same on a made-to-measure version from someone who cares a great deal and that will last you 20 years? My point is this: if you wanted a Ferrari, wouldn’t you want to buy it from a person who loves, lives and breathes Ferraris and knows everything there is to know about them?” Well, of course you would! www.ma rtinjsylvester.com www.inst agram.com/Leeshawilliamsphoto www.tom jeavonsphotography.co MEET CHARLOTTE LAURIE, CHARLOTTE LAURIE DESIGNS w ww.charlottelauriedesigns.co.uk @charlottelauriedesigns www.nick ikomorowskiphotography.com If you’re looking for a bouquet to last, allow us to introduce you to Charlotte, who delights in helping couples step away from the traditional and create individual pieces that reflect their personalities and fit their day perfectly. A passionate felter, artist and lover of all things wedding, she established her alternative wedding flower business, specialising in felt wedding bouquets, quirky buttonholes and luxury textile wedding gifts in 2012. Working from her home in Kent, Charlotte hand-crafts characterful bouquets and accessories, which come to life through a collaborative process between herself and her brides. “Each piece is lovingly handmade and hand-sewn,” she explains. This alternative to fresh-cut flowers will last forever, so if you’re dividing your celebration into a more intimate ceremony followed by a big bash when restrictions are lifted, it’s the perfect choice to last through both. www.tom jeavonsphotography.co
