Your Kent Wedding - January/February 2021 (Issue 94)

We knew in November is was going to get dark early, so we made use of fairylights and candles, as well as drapes and rustic-style bunting. Our ivory-iced cake was adorned a burgundy ribbon and pink flowers. Each table was decorated with a hurricane vase containing a candle and surrounded by a wreath of burgundy and white flowers. Favours were key bottle openers and we attached a kraft paper note to each one with twine. Our table plan was made from a decorative mirror and kraft paper to give it a rustic feel. The place names and table numbers were also made form kraft paper to tie everything together. I arrived in style in a white Rolls Royce, followed by my bridesmaids in a white Daimler. The groom wore a navy suit paired with a tweed waistcoat and burgundy tie. The groomsmen were dressed to match, but Sam stood out with a different buttonhole. 48
