Your Kent Wedding -November/December 2020 (Issue 93)

PHOTOGRAPHY 69 C hoosing your photographer is a vitally important decision, and an area where you won’t want to spare the budget. These enormously talented folks are worth their weight in gold: not only do they capture every treasured moment as the day unfolds, they then spend hour upon hour slaving away over the images afterwards, making sure every single one is absolutely perfect. Your photographer will be with you throughout your big day so it’s so important that the three of you (or four if there’s a second shooter) get along like a house on fire. A quality professional will put you at ease, while they capture you at your most joyful and natural. Another key factor to consider is the style you’re looking for – there are many from artistic and documentary, to traditional and formal. So, be sure to check out as many photographers’ websites and social media pages as you can to get a good feel for their work before you begin enquiring about dates. To set you out on your journey, we asked a group of fab photographers from around the county to showcase their favourite shots. PICTURE PERFECT Meet some of the county’s finest photographers as they share their favourite images 1. “Bride Adele running towards the sea outside the Hythe Imperial Hotel. It was so much fun to see her so happy and enjoying her special day, especially since she’d been so anxious in the morning!” 2. “Due to the poor health of one of their close family members, Beth and Will decided to bring forward their wedding with an intimate ceremony in Canterbury. The love between them was incredibly overwhelming.” 3. “I love the complicity between the bride, Georgia, and her dad. This photo always makes me smile.” 4. “Catherine and Nick tied the knot in Folkestone. The English Rose marries her American Prince Charming! It was a beautifully relaxed international wedding with a hint of Scotland, as the couple met at St Andrews University.” ALBANE PHOTOGRAPHY www.albanephotography.com @albanephoto ALBANE'S FAVOURITE SHOTS 1 2 3 4
