Your Kent Wedding -November/December 2020 (Issue 93)

I decided against a veil and opted for some diamante pins for my hair to complement the detail on the dress. Lawrence was dressed in a morning suit, with navy jacket and grey pinstripe trousers. The groomsmen wore the same, so he finished his look with a different buttonhole. Lawrence’s daughter who is 13 decided to write her own reading as part of the ceremony, which really meant a lot to us. I loved having my hair and make-up done with Alison Noble in the morning. She made me feel so relaxed and my final look was even better than the trial. I truly felt amazing. We decorated the fireplace in the ceremony room with lanterns, gourds, pumpkins of various colours and sizes, and giant tea lights. We also lined the aisle with munchkin pumpkins. REAL WEDDINGS 55 
