Your Kent Wedding - May/June 2020 (Issue 90)

Try to enjoy the planning and do what feels right for you both, rather than what you think you should do for everyone else. Take in every moment, as the day will fly by. Try to have some time out, just the two of you. Also, go with the flow – some things won’t go to plan, but don’t let them overshadow your day. Finally, wear comfortable shoes, as you’ll be on your feet most of the day. We went to the Maldives for 10 days and stayed in a water bungalow. It was a dream and just what we needed after being so busy with the planning. He put me on his shoulders for the final dance, then promptly dropped me, but the dress cushioned my fall! 52
