Your Kent Wedding - Mar/Apr 2020 (Issue 89)

The four groomsmen wore navy suits, also with tweed waistcoats, but their jackets were a standard design, rather than tails. They accessorised with navy wool ties, while the two best men wore bow ties, and the father-of-the-bride had a normal tie, so you could easily identify their different roles. I wore a simple ivory fitted dress with a Bardot neckline by Phoenix Gowns. I felt the style would be timeless and it suited my figure. It was only the second dress I tried on. I visited several other boutiques afterwards, but this was the only one I couldn’t stop thinking about. I accessorised with a delicate belt, sewn around the waist. Matt was dressed in a navy tail suit, which set him apart from the groomsmen. He paired this with a brown tweed waistcoat and bow tie. The bridesmaids looked beautiful in their rose gold and dusky pink dresses. The tops were adorned in sequins to complement the glam theme. 56
