Your Kent Wedding - Nov/Dec 2019 (Issue 87)

80 S hoot coordinator Lucy Jessey of Caro Events set out to create an elegant and sumptuous wintry wedding scene, rich in deep purple hues, plenty of sparkle and, ideally, some snow. “We used a stunning variety of dresses, with gorgeous accessories, including a faux-fur shrug and floral veil to emphasise luxury,” she told us. While the groom wore two high-quality suits for the images, with fine added details including the buttonhole, fob watch chain and cane. Shhh… Can you keep a secret? The snow was actually provided by a snow machine because of the unpredictability of the British climate! But it assisted ably in the creation of some beautiful outside shots to complement the images of Bradbourne House’s stunning interior. Lucy was keen to show something very achievable for brides and grooms in these images, with little details that can easily be carried throughout the wedding styling, such as the sparkle and colour palette. She concludes: “I chose a fantastic group of suppliers whom I’d worked with before – we all love to try out new ideas.” The beautiful Bradbourne House was the backdrop for this wintry shoot, styled in a deep purple palette with a hint of sparkle Images courtesy of Photographed by John Knight SNOWSTOPPING elegance
