Your Kent Wedding - Nov/Dec 2019 (Issue 87)

Our favours were Christmas- themed gingerbread men and had the place names tied to them with red bows. The centrepieces were simple hurricane vases with tall church candles, filled with Christmassy foliage, dried fruits, pinecones and cinnamon sticks. Our table plan was on brown card, in keeping with the shabby-chic style we were going for, and our tables were named after Santa’s reindeers. The flowers complemented the centrepieces with the same foliage and cinnamon sticks, accompanied by red roses. I had a picture of my late granddad and dog, Bosley, tied to my bouquet. I wore a gown by Allure, which I’d had altered into a fishtail-style with off-the- shoulder sleeves and a diamanté belt. 60
