Penshurst Place is one of the most complete examples of 14-century architecture in England surviving in its original location. The 11-acre Grade I listed Elizabethan walled gardens are divided into a series of outside rooms by a mile of yew hedging and are packed with seasonal flowers, colour and topiary.
