Your Kent Wedding - Jul/Aug 2019 (Issue 85)

We chose St Thomas Catholic Church for the ceremony as it’s my family church. We were all baptised and had our first communions there. Plus, it’s linked to the schools my family and I all attended, so it was very important to me to make my vows there. Marleybrook House is absolutely stunning and full of character. From the vintage fun fair to the beautiful marquee and picturesque scenery, there really was no need to think any further about where to celebrate our big day. I had a teardrop-style bouquet with pale pink blooms and greenery. They really were beautiful. Alex was dressed in a navy three-piece check suit. His was a lighter shade than the groomsmen allowing him to stand out. I was looking for something with a vintage feel that I’d feel good in and would show my figure without being too revealing. I wore a beautiful Justin Alexander fishtail gown with lace sleeves and stunning beaded detail. 62
