Perhaps this is ingrained from school days, but September feels like a second chance at a new beginning. The January-life-change might not have gone to plan, then summer whizzes past you and before you know it, the kids are back at school and the weather is slumping back into grey days. It’s here that we find ourselves on a precipice – stay as we are or make a change before the year is out? I find this time of year quite invigorating! A second chance at starting over isn’t a failure of the first but instead, an opportunity. I find it easier to get to the gym, I’m eating better, and I feel generally more uplifted – minus the dark days trying to drag me down. For our September brides, you are the final wave of the wedding season! The days are still long enough for a full-day celebration, no one is sticking to their tulle anymore, and the evenings become a lot cosier (with some well-placed firepits).
