Your Kent Wedding - May/June 2025 (Issue 120)

6 33 9 Elise and Cameron’s dream day Explore wedding venues in your area! What’s new in the world of love? 21 As spring rears its head and summer feels closer than ever, you’re bound to see more flowers around. I’m sure we can all agree that the desire to frolic through a flower field has crossed our minds. Perhaps not, but the films do make it look marvellous! In theory, this beautiful moment would make you feel like the main character in a rom-com. In practise? You’re a snotty mess scrambling for the hay fever tablets. But this desire to be amongst the wildflowers is making its way into weddings, through the theme of fairytales and fanciful parties. Elise and Cameron Dalzell got this theme down to an artform, for their wedding in August 2024. Pictured in this section (right), you can see them sharing a warm embrace amongst some cow parsley — sigh...oh to be held in a wildflower field. But how can you incorporate this and other 2025 trends into your wedding? In this issue we dive into the rise of short dresses, how to bring your sparkle through jewellery, and what your bridesmaids can do to look the part on your special day.
