Made with love Local suppliers tell us about their businesses ELIZABETH ANNE NORRIS JEWELLERY Elizabeth Ann Norris, designer/jeweller says... Elizabeth Anne Norris Jewellery offers workshops where couples make their own own sustainable gold or silver rings for the big day. Elizabeth understands the importance of every detail, and the workshops are all about creating something unique and meaningful that will last a lifetime. It’s not only about making the rings but spending precious time together. “My aim is to offer a once in a lifetime experience where couples can create their very own wedding rings in a matter of hours. Using only recycled metals, my services will align with eco-conscious wedding couples too. From initial consultation through to the end rings I’m there to support my clients at every step.” What is the most popular product you offer? It’s difficult to say what is the most popular product as every couple I meet are different, however simple rings with a hammered texture are very popular right now. They are unique to the couple who made them and cannot be found in shops. Why is it important to choose local suppliers? According to The Carbon Trust, the average UK wedding emits approximately 14.5 tons of CO2. As I’m working towards my sustainability accreditation this year, carbon footprint of what I do is important to me. I’d love it if my wedding couples cared about carbon footprint too; if they're local to me I can support them in reducing it. What does your dream customer look like? My dream couple are creative and caring. They’ve thought about the impact of their wedding in terms of sustainability and carbon footprint. They don’t want to compromise on quality. They value experience and memories over mass produced and one time only use.
