Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding - Page number 38 - November/December 2021 (Issue 89)

Graeme wore a custom-made, black tuxedo personalised with the wedding date and the Jameson Whiskey family motto ‘Sine Metu’, which means ‘Without Fear’, embroidered on the inside. My Suzanne Neville Venus gown was the first one I saw while scrolling online during lockdown. I went to so many shops and tried on lots of dresses, including Venus, but it was Laura at Ellie Sanderson who made me fall in love with it. It was the same day as my late nan’s birthday, which made it even more special. The ceremony pavilion was decorated with a flora l arch and we had real rose petals scattered down the aisle. “We were so lucky that the Covid restrictions lifted just four days before our wedding and we were able to have the day we’d dreamed of!” We’ve stayed at the Balmer Lawn a few times over the years, but never thought we’d get married there. As soon, as we walked around the hotel and saw the outdoor ceremony pavilion, we knew it was the one and we booked it a few days later! 38
