Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding - May/June 2020 (Issue 80)

Tom is part of the Black Swan Rapper team, which performs traditional north eastern folk dance with swords. As many of the other members were guests at the wedding, and lots of my friends had never seen this type of dancing before, we thought it would be good fun for the boys to put on a show at the reception. It went down a storm!  VERITY AND TOM’S LITTLE WHITE BOOK Photography | Lewis and Schofield Wedding Photography | www.lewisandschofield.com Venue | Kingston Country Courtyard | www.kingstoncountrycourtyard.com Bride’s dress and accessories | Minster Bridal Boutique | www.minsterbridal.co.uk Hair and make-up | FLC Hair and Makeup | www.fionalucyclark.co.uk Bridesmaids’ dresses | All Aspects Wedding Services | www.allaspectsweddingservices.co.uk Flowers | The Happy Blossoms | www.thehappyblossoms.com Transport | Premier Carriage | www.premiercarriage.co.uk Band | The City Folk | Nathan.brough@ben-marshall.co.uk Fairylights | Simply Flower | www.simplyflower.co.uk Light-up letters | Doris Loves | www.dorisloves.co.uk Guest coaches | Excelsior | www.excelsior-coaches.com Simply Flower provided fairylights in the barn – they really added to the romantic atmosphere for the evening. Tom’s mum and auntie arranged the flowers for the church and the centrepieces, which made it feel really personal and they loved being involved. The City Folk band performed live for the evening party. They were great and did a wide range of covers that everyone loved dancing to. They even performed Islands in the Stream for our first dance. 40
