Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding - March/April 2026 (Issue 115)

Langford Farm is a new DIY wedding venue in the heart of the New Forest, offering couples the rare opportunity to bring their own horses to their wedding day. This unique freedom made it the perfect setting for a Western-inspired shoot, celebrating individuality and creativity. With models Molly and Liam, both keen horse riders and lovers of all things Western, the concept came together naturally. Their own cowboy boots and hats set the tone, with Molly’s cowgirl boots inspiring a colour palette of deep red with terracotta, soft creams and muted sage. As a wedding coordinator with a creative mind, Natasha Gilchrist at Tasha Mae Wedding Co-ordinator wanted to highlight the venue’s versatility, so she spoke with the team about how they could style two overlooked spaces on the farm. She says, “The first being the hay barn, which we transformed into an intimate picnic for two. The second was a stable opposite Langford Farmhouse, which became a relaxed lounge area. Delicate draping, candlelight and bohemian décor brought warmth and romance to these unexpected settings.” The day was beautifully styled by Christie from Willow Nest Wedding and Event Styling. No Western-inspired shoot would be complete without a horse. Bailey, owned by the venue owner Sarah, joined the day and made a perfect third model. Natasha Brighton from NK Photography showcased the incredible photography opportunities available to couples wishing to include their horse on the day. While this photoshoot shows the venue’s equestrian offering, Langford Farm also appeals to all couples through its luxury farmhouse accommodation, stunning New Forest setting and complete freedom to choose suppliers. The aim for the styled shoot was to reflect exactly that, a venue designed to be styled your way, where weddings can be as personal and unique as the couples themselves! 40
