Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding - May/June 2025 (Issue 110)

I organised the table decorations through lots of research from Pinterest and lots of trials, tears and errors. I also printed all the table names and table plans and put them together myself; this was important as I wanted a simple black-and-white theme with nothing too over the top. The moment I walked down the aisle was truly unforgettable. My parents accompanied me after my brother and half-sister as well as my best friend and stepdaughter. Sharing that morning and the walk with the people I hold dear created a cherished memory I will always treasure. We both felt nervous and excited! Although the morning for me was very relaxed, there were no stresses or rushing around. My stepsister, also the hairdresser, commented it was the most chilled wedding morning she had ever attended. Skylark Country Club in Hampshire was perfect for our wedding as guests didn’t have to travel between venues and could relax knowing everything was in one place. It was also very green with outdoor spaces and open areas, which we both loved. We felt lucky as the venue was beautiful, which suited our minimal idea and meant we didn’t need to have too many decorations. The venue included table sashes and chair decorations, supplied by Vintage Rose Decorations, which were in black and looked great against the roses. 44
