69 EXPERT ADVICE LOVE IS IN THE HAIR How can I get thicker and fuller hair for my special day? If you have a hairstylist for your wedding, they should be able to achieve this desired look! If you’re doing your own hair on the special day, here are my top tips for creating volume and thickness… ❤ Blow-dry your hair upside down before styling to create lift from the roots. ❤ Invest in an excellent backcombing comb and tease the hair underneath the top layer to create fullness. ❤ Invest in a good shampoo and conditioner three to four months before the big day. ❤ Food plays a part in having healthy hair, start increasing iron and vitamin- rich foods into your diet such as spinach, broccoli, eggs and good old vitamin C. ❤ Use blow-drying products before you start drying your locks, my recommendations would be Bumble and Bumble Thickening Go Big Treatment or L’Oréal Professionel Tecni. ART Volume Lift Mousse. Classic single rows, studs and pendants are never out of place and will always look classy, but today’s modern designs can make pearls fun and more wearable than ever. Yellow gold is definitely on-trend and we just love this pendant and matching earrings from Shaun Leane’s Cherry Blossom range, which beautifully encompasses this. Shaun Leane is a very talented British jewellery designer who became famous for his long association with Alexander McQueen.  Classic with a contemporary edge, his yellow gold vermeil freshwater pearl pendant and earrings offers a harmonious blend of softness and sleek lines, giving a bridal look that’s both feminine and chic. Both the pendant and earrings are available in-store at Gatwards of Hitchin. Charlotte Gatward | Gatwards of Hitchin | www.gatwardsofhitchin.co.uk  www.sweetpeaandivy.photos/index
