Your Herts and Beds Wedding - April/May 2020 (Issue 79)

Chenies Manor House was wonderful and a complete opportunity! We took a cancellation date, which was four months after getting engaged – it had to be done! It was a blank canvas and really allowed us to create our wedding just how we imagined it to be. I went for a Paloma Blanca bridal gown, which I fell in love with as soon as I tried it on. At first it was too blingy for me, but I had the straps and belt made in plain silk, which was much more my style! I went with my mum shopping and we had that wonderful Slipping Through My Fingers, Mamma Mia moment!  We went with Passion Fruit Catering who put on a fantastic barbecue spread which was so tasty! We had a beautiful and simple cake made by a lovely lady in the village! My mum put together all the floral arrangements for the church, venue and the bouquet of course! Our place names were all hand-written and looked beautiful. 32
