She says, “The owner Cara designs some gorgeous dresses herself – many of which I tried on – but I eventually settled on a lacey gown with customised fluted sleeves and accessorised it with ivory, open-toed sandals.” At a wedding fair, they noticed Eden b. Studio who has handmade gold hairpins and one of their best friends lent the bride-to-be a floor- length veil for her something borrowed. TIME TO CELEBRATE The company Thom Music sang and played acoustic guitar during the drinks reception and canapés, which created a lovely and romantic atmosphere. Thom Morley learnt and sung three new songs – guests loved him. The couple hired a DJ in the evening to keep the party going. Emily says, “After arranging a meeting a couple of months before the big day, we left feeling totally reassured and confident in our decision; and we were right to be – he kept the floor filled all night long.” MEMORABLE MOMENTS The whole day ended up being a complete success and something the newlyweds can look back on forever. Emily says: “It was everything we had dreamed of and totally worth the months of blood, sweat and tears! Our highlights were the ceremony and speeches – both were very emotional but full of love.” HONEYMOON  For their honeymoon, James and Emily set off to Devon for two nights, where they spent their time looking through photos and reliving the moments through videos. To get over the post-wedding blues, they planned a trip which started in the Cook Islands and then around New Zealand before flying home via Sydney. The couple share their top tip from the whole experience saying: “When planning your wedding, don’t rush into any decisions – deposits aren’t refundable! On the day, take some time out together, it all goes by in a flash, but it truly will be the best day!”
