Your Herts & Beds Wedding - Feb/Mar 2020 (Issue 78)

My dress was simple and fitted with straps. I wanted something light and delicate as I’m petite and didn’t want anything too overpowering. I had only one maid-of-honour who wore a nude lace midi style dress and my flowergirl’s dress was white. We picked neutral flowers with lots of green and scented herbs in small jars going along the long tables. Christopher had a chino-type navy blue suit with shirt and tie, which was the same as what the groommen wore. The flowers, food, music, weather and being surrounded by loved ones was my favourite part of the day.  I wore my mother-in-law’s pearl earrings as my something borrowed and kept everything else very simple.  We were hoping for good food, music and that our company was enough for our guests, and it was.  REAL WEDDINGS 57 
