It opened as a sustainably-built wedding venue in 2013, after being lovingly transformed, and recent developments include the walled garden that forms part of the estate having been restored to its original working-produce garden. Ceremonies take place in a variety of areas in the main house and gardens including in The Hall. Dinner and dancing is enjoyed in The Gillyflower, a romantic event space in the grounds draped in fairylights and home to a state-of-the-art sound and light system. The menus are prepared by head chef Matt Greene with all dishes created using ingredients sourced straight from the walled garden. The picturesque courtyard and grounds are also a photographer’s dream, with Instaworthy touches at every turn including secluded wooded areas and pretty manicured gardens. Outdoor ceremonies take place in the thatched summerhouse located within the private, secluded courtyard. The indoor ceremony option is the chic Borelli Suite, a traditional room with a feature fireplace flooded with natural light that overlooks the gardens.
