Your Gloucestershire and Wiltshire Wedding- June/July 2020 (Issue 21)

Our candy cart was also a hit with the little ones! I had met my hair and make-up artist Maddy from Wedding Paint at an open day hosted at our venue and she did a wonderful job! I felt like a princess on the day and she also did the make-up and hair for all of my bridal party. Our cake designer is an old college friend of mine who worked wonders with our naked wedding cake dressed with fresh fruit and flowers matching those in my bouquet. It sat under a foliage hoop and looked as good as it tasted! We loved the personalised labels printed featuring photographs of us for our prosecco bottles – they were a great idea! Our navy and gold bridesmaids’ dresses were the perfect pick for them, they all looked stunning! We booked a local company called Le Tartistry who catered for the afternoon tea served on vintage crockery. They spent hours on the Saturday setting up the marquee (on what turned out to be the hottest bank holiday on record!) They were so attentive, setting out plates for the little ones – we had almost 40 children invited! I wanted an afternoon tea as our daytime catering and George wanted a hog roast during the evening so that decision was easy! REAL WEDDINGS 35 
