Your Gloucestershire and Wiltshire Wedding- April/May 2020 (Issue 20)

Our showstopping cake was a white and baby blue four-tier design decorated with delicate pearl beads, blue ribbon and flowers. We chose a striking gold cake topper as the finishing touch. “I was very nervous on the morning of the wedding but after the vows were exchanged, I felt more relaxed and excited.” – Chantelle I loved walking down the grand sweeping staircase with my dad before we entered the ceremony room – I felt like a princess. We both fell in love with Clearwell Castle, it’s so beautiful and being able to get married there was a dream come true. The room where we held our wedding breakfast looked so beautiful. We chose pretty centrepieces of white and baby blue flowers to tie in with our colour theme and our quirky table plan used candle sets to display it. The names were made using cream floral numbers. The same flowers were used in our bouquets, along with decorative pearl pins, and all of the buttonholes. They looked adorable! 34
