❤ We love… that dogs are welcome in the bar areas of the King’s Arms and selected parts of the brasserie. Ceremony licence? No Contact: 01242 520 012, kingsarmsprestbury.com thekingsarms_ This beautifully restored pub and brasserie offering home-cooked food and craft ales is home to a vibrant courtyard-style garden for al fresco dining and aperitifs. It features garden shed dining pods, complete with heating and lighting, in an aquamarine colour palette. National Trust gardens, such as nearby Hidcote, inspired the patio planting and varieties include Hidcote lavender, white roses, bay, and jasmine climbing up the pergola mixed with wisteria in the spring. Old terracotta planters, reclaimed zinc containers and scaffold board planters add to the English country garden feel. To complete the look, glittering chandeliers are suspended from the pergola and old mirrors adorn the outside walls. The menu is inspired by British pub classics and French favourites along with Sunday roasts, and the outdoors has been styled inside with a garden-inspired dining room, a shed-like snug, and a quirky stables-themed dining room. While the inn doesn’t hold ceremonies, it’s a great dining option for couples marrying nearby. THE KING’S ARMS PUB BRASSERIE, PRESTBURY, GLOUCESTERSHIRE Ceremony licence?
