Your Glos and Wilts Wedding - October/November 2019 (Issue 17)

We both fell in love with the venue because it catered for everything on our wish list. It meant that we could hold the entire day in one place, and the majority of our guests could stay over the night of the wedding and join us for breakfast and a spa session the following morning. Lewis’ reaction as I walked down the aisle was a very special moment that I will never forget. My dress was the style Rayner by Maggie Sottero. As soon as I tried it on, I knew it was the one for me. I decided not to team it with a veil because I wanted the detail on the back to be seen. We decorated our tables with jars of flowers sat on log slices and pine cones, which looked so pretty. Our wedding breakfast looked so elegant with white, lilac and soft grey touches. We wanted the tables to be close to our top table so that everyone was sat together. I gave my bridesmaids an itinerary of jobs that needed doing and checking on the morning of the wedding. Everything ran so smoothly, and we were able to relax and enjoy a few glasses of prosecco together. 44
