We hired a guitarist to entertain our guests in the evening, an open photo booth, a disco and our first dance was to Crazy Love by Van Morrison. Our ice cream bike went down a treat! James looked dapper in his blue three-piece suit, and his pink tie and pocket handkerchief matched my dress. His groomsmen (including our 10-year-old son, Oliver) wore similar styles. It featured a hint of pink that suited our theme perfectly. I found my dream dress in a magazine so approached Belle of the Ball Bridals in Melksham, who ordered it in especially for me. It was the Pracatan style by Ian Stuart in a soft lilac that was actually a beautiful soft dusky pink shade. I simply adored it! I teamed my gown with a pearl necklace that my sister had made for me. 40
