The attraction was instant and after chatting some more, the pair went out on their first date – the rest is history! Matthew knew Katie was the one and decided to propose during a romantic walk. She says, “My parents were involved in the plan and asked me to walk my childhood dog, Ruby, because they were too busy – I thought nothing of it.” She adds, “We were walking down the canal, and Matt popped the question when we reached a bench, which happened to be where we sat on our first date.” Here Katie shares details about their special day...
