WINSTANLEY HOUSE 01163 665 642 |  www.winstanleyhouse.co.uk Nestled among lush parkland just outside Leicester City Centre, Winstanley House makes the most beautiful backdrop for a wedding. The Grade II listed building is steeped in history, heritage, and character – just look at the original features and decorative brickwork. The venue’s a delightful blend of Georgian and contemporary architecture. It has been restored to include all the conveniences couples come to expect from a modern venue whilst retaining the charm, class and elegance of a stately home. Inside couples will find 19 luxury bedrooms, two magnificent ballrooms, an Orangery and the Black Iron Restaurant & Bar. The Pavilion Ballroom is ideally suited for 200 guests. It features floor-to-ceiling windows that offer expansive views of the grounds and lets natural light illuminate the room. Or why not opt for The Grand Ballroom for 250 guests? Adjacent to this space is the Orangery, an ideal fusion of contemporary and Georgian architecture with red brick walls, modern lighting fixtures and plenty of natural daylight. This location can accommodate 80 loved ones for ceremonies or drinks receptions. Couples can also opt to exchange their vows in the landscaped gardens and there’s plenty of idyllic photo opportunities for photographers to capture. Receptions occur in The Pavilion Ballroom, for 200, and The Grand Ballroom for 450 people and 550 if the marquee extension is used.
