TRANSPORT 79  ALL REVVED UP Transport options for the big day WEDDING WHEELS LTD, MICHAEL OVERTON When did the business start?  The business started in 1990, and we intended to offer couples a five-star all-inclusive service which no one else was doing at that time.  What vehicles do you offer couples on their wedding day?  We have a fleet of 12 uniformed chauffeur’s and cater for all tastes. We have four traditional Daimler Limousines, a 1937 vintage Armstrong Siddeley, a 1964 Austin Princess Vanden Plas Limousine, a diamond white Rolls Royce Silver Shadow 1 and a 1930s-style Beauford open-top Tourer. We also have a 1930s-style Badsworth Tourer, a 1970s Cadillac Deville in diamond white and a matching pair of 4.0l V8 Jaguar Limousines. What makes the company stand out?  Our main priority is providing our customers with the very best service. We offer a professional, friendly, courteous and helpful service from beginning to end and tailor our offering to meet clients’ requirements. Plus we only do one wedding per day! What are the company values?  We always deal with people fairly and honestly with integrity and accountability. What’s your favourite part of your job?  I enjoy taking the newlyweds to their reception venue, they can enjoy their first moments as a married couple. Top tip Once your date and venue has been decided, secure your wedding transport as soon as possible – most get booked up for nearly two years ahead. With close to 150 weddings under our belt, we certainly have the ability to calm and steady a bride-to-be on the way to her ceremony. What vehicles do you offer couples on their wedding day?  We offer a beautiful London Taxi TX1 – it looks great in photos! What makes the company stand out?  For local couples before they book, we’re happy to take our taxi wherever possible (COVID-19 restrictions permitting) to see if it’s the right vehicle for. Our 100 per cent five-star reviews to date prove that our service and professionalism can’t be bettered. What are the company values?  We are an inclusive company. A couple to us, is two people who wish to get married, regardless of their age, sex, gender, ethnicity or anything else. Every couple will get 100 per cent of our attention and service. What are your top tips for couples who are planning transport for the big day?  Be specific about what you want the wedding car to do and then choose accordingly.
