Then there’s the external patio area, which is perfect for a summer’s evening, watching the sunset over the farm. Wood Farm at Everdon has a three-day venue hire service, to allow for time to set-up and avoid any rush or stress on the day. The venue dates back to the 1500s and has been a rural Medieval farm manor house, country house, asylum and was once home to Shakespeare’s granddaughter. The museum has incredible spaces available for a ceremony holding 75 people and 60 for a reception in the Great Hall or Thursby Room or 120 in both. A reception can even take place in the courtyard.
