We need lots of information to help us create your bake, so we’ll be asking you lots of questions. There’s an unbelievable amount of choice when it comes to the design, so tell us all about your vision for the whole day. If you can put together a mood board with little snippets of all the beautiful things you’re planning, then that’s useful. Don’t forget to include colour swatches if you’d like exact shade matching. Ask lots of questions and never be afraid to change your mind – this cake has to be perfect!” Toni Adam from Red Velvet Baker says: “Setting a budget is very important! Let your chosen cake maker know upfront how much you wish to spend. Someone you can be honest with about design ideas and flavours. Choose a baker who has lots of experience and who specialises in making wedding cakes and delivering them.
