Your East Midlands Wedding - August/September 2020 (Issue 39)

We had artificial flowers on our day. Our table plan was based on Korean cities, as a way of introducing them to the guests – educational as well as beautiful! We clipped small photos into crocodile clips for our centrepieces. Bridgford Hall, West Bridgford Registration Office was available at short notice, it was a lovely colour. As for The Cottage Hotel, we liked the room – it was just the right size and colour for what we needed. We kept the whole day very simple because the Korean wedding was planned for later. The main things that required some decoration were the cake and table plan. We got our cake from Marks & Spencer, it was three layers and had royal icing – Yewon lovingly decorated it with roses. 30
