49 REGIONAL SHOOT TRULY Discover this beautiful shoot located at Harlaxton Manor Images courtesy of Pink Photographics romantic T his stunning shoot highlights the incredible work of local suppliers and offers plenty of inspiration when it comes to planning the overall look. Shoot coordinator and owner of Bennington Blooms, Lucy Dames says: “Harlaxton Manor is a working college for American students and only hold a few weddings a year. I was honoured to be allowed on site to do this due to us being their recommended florist and venue stylist – we made the most of the day with mainly different bridal looks. “The main theme was magenta and teal, which was a representation of ‘Harlaxtons Colour’ purple with the original colour of the room that we styled being teal. We teamed this with peacock feathers as we felt it worked beautifully with these colours and produced stationery, cakes and hair accessories around this theme. “The building’s so dramatic and grand with golds everywhere in a Baroque style, that lead us to feel that we needed to continue with grandeur and opulence. We used an enormous trained gold dress with flowers and hair jewels to match on a red-haired bride – it took our breath away.“It was a dream of a day playing in a breathtaking building with the Events Team there, led by Ellen and all the wonderful suppliers and models.” 
