Our top tip would be to trust your instinct – you spend so long planning the most meticulous details but when it comes to the day, try to relax and let the day surprise you. Feel proud of the decisions you’ve agonised over for many hours, days, weeks and months. Ysanne was very nervous while I felt calm and composed, until I choked up when reading my vows. Ysanne’s quite a reserved person and was particularly nervous about walking down the aisle. That said, she did it excellently with her dad on her arm. Ysanne wanted an evening photo where the word ‘love’ was spelt out using sparklers. It’s a photographer’s nightmare, with us having to hold the shot for 15 seconds. However, it was captured so wonderfully and on the first take! 48
