An online meeting led to a romantic winter wedding for Joe and Ysanne Images courtesy of Pudding & Plum Photography J oe and Ysanne first met online and it was clear that they had chemistry straight away thanks to their shared interests in music and films and their common values and approaches to life. After many messages, the pair decided to meet for a coffee. Joe says, “It had been snowing and I arrived after Ysanne. As I approached the entrance, I could see her reading in the window when she looked up and gave me a cute wave – my heart melted.” He loved how smart, articulate and clearly opinionated she is as well as her natural beauty. Ysanne loved Joe’s intelligence, humour and integrity. The more time the couple spent together, the more it became clear to Joe that Ysanne was the one. After booking a trip to visit the Christmas markets in Bruges, Belgium, he has planned to propose in the beautiful city. Joe says: “I took Ysanne over to the waterfront, fumbled in my bag before telling her how much I loved her and asked her to marry me. The umbrella I was holding strangely provided a romantic space as well as some rest bite from the rain. Luckily Ysanne said ‘yes’ after a few tears!” Here Joe tells us more about their special day...
