Your East Midlands Wedding - Feb/Mar 2020 (Issue 36)

60 W ith the use of a 1970s bay-window VW blue Campervan, a rustic semi-naked buttercream cake, wild bouquet, flowercrown and hand-painted leather jacket, Karen Faulkner created the perfect shoot set against the stunning backdrop of the Peak District National Park. The shoot was organised for the launch of a new concept in micro-weddings and elopements in England – to wed in the wild without a formal venue. Karen's a wedding celebrant who owns Stand Out Ceremonies, she says, “I hope this gorgeous photography demonstrates to couples considering an adventure micro- wedding or elopement that there’s a way to do it that makes absolutely no compromise on quality, luxury or the impact of the day. The focus is simply shifted to being solely about you and your partner’s experience together and the only things scaled back are the guest list, the months of stress, and the cost!” Discover this beautiful shoot at the Peak District National Park Images courtesy of Holly Jo Whitehall WI LD AND free - spirited
