This venue’s history is varied, with the Estate once belonging to the Spencer family of the Althorp Estate but has been privately owned for the past 15 years. With more than 400 years of history, there are many period features within Brampton Grange House whilst the interior of the venue offers a modern and contemporary decorated barn. The venue stands out with its sand- coloured natural stone, imposing arched porch framing the front door and attractive bay windows, not forgetting the sweeping driveway. The house is striking, instantly inviting and provides a fantastic backdrop for wedding photographs. Combining the grandeur of a country house and the rustic charm of a delightful barn, this stunning venue offers the best of both worlds for couples’ special day. The grounds are glorious with extensive manicured lawns, traditional courtyard and romantic walled garden – all of which have many hidden spots, which are perfect for photos. The main entrance of the venue is a stunning orangery with original exposed brickwork. The orangery leads on to a courtyard and to the main barns, all with high-ceilings, timber-beams and stunning chandeliers.  Anyone wishing to hold a wedding at Brampton Grange can choose either the Verona barn, which works well for intimate ceremonies, or the Venice barn, with its floor-to-ceiling drapes and fairylights. Both are licensed for ceremonies and there’s only one wedding per day. The Florence Barn is a superb space typically used for the wedding breakfast and evening entertainment. The Georgian manor house is surrounded by beautiful grounds enclosed by a Georgian period wall, in places up-to 20 feet high. Within the walls are a range of lawns, herbaceous borders and flowerbeds. Wedding ceremonies take place in the Drawing Room, which is traditionally decorated with paintings and antiques, with a capacity of 44 family members. The reception spaces are perfect, it takes place in the front hall or the gardens, depending on the weather.
