Excitement, love and laughter filled the air throughout Anna and Rich’s celebrations Images courtesy of Jonathan Flint Photography A nna and Rich met at work but it took them five years to pluck up the courage to get talking. “I thought Rich was really good looking but we didn’t speak properly until he added me on Facebook. He commented on one of my posts, we sent a couple of messages and it went from there!” says Anna. The couple had been planning a trip to America for a couple of years and it was on that very adventure that Rich proposed. “It was on the beach in a little town called Cambria on the Big Sur in California. We’d had a really lovely dinner then on the walk back Rich went really quiet. I remember that I tried to hold his hand, but he was holding the ring so refused. I told him off because I thought he was being grumpy with me!” she says. “Rich didn’t realise how dark it is in the middle of nowhere, so he had to use his mobile phone light to make sure he didn’t drop the ring!
