Our pick of local lovelies The best of Newark Town Hall, Nottinghamshire Built in 1776, the Town Hall is situated in the heart of Newark and overlooks its quaint marketplace. This Grade I listed building boasts elegant and spacious rooms, which are complemented perfectly by modern catering facilities. The stunning Georgian Ballroom, with its lavish architecture, has a maximum ceremony capacity of 160 and can accommodate 140 loved ones for the reception. More intimate ceremonies of up to 60 for the nuptials and 50 for dinner are held in the Council Chamber. Using the rooms together provides additional flexibility. Ceremony licence?
