We displayed photos of our parents and grandparents on their wedding days, and polaroid pics of us over the years, throughout the venue. We were really lucky to have Dan’s sister-in-law, Susie, design our stunning stationery. Our florist decorated our cake to fit in with our wild flower theme. It looked and tasted amazing. During the ceremony and drinks reception Dan’s sister played in her string quartet. We both love David Bowie so they played a number of special arrangements for us. Our band in the evening learnt our first dance song, Blue Jeans by Lana Del Rey, and played it live. We think it sounded better than the original and hopefully distracted people from our choreographed first dance! Bex’s top tip: Relax and enjoy the time with your friends and family. 46
