As soon as I tried on Paradis by Ian Stuart my face lit up. I love trees so the leaf detail felt like it was made for me, and the matching veil was heaven. I chose natural make-up and I knew I wanted a flower crown, so I styled my hair around that. I’m really pleased with how the look turned out. Dan, his best men Tom and Adam, and ushers Toby, Ross and PJ all wore tweed three-piece suits. Dan had a style in mind so he found it all relatively straightforward. Our bridesmaids Sally, Steph and Emma wore blue dresses with leaf detail, delicate beading and long flowing skirts. Crockwell Farm had everything we wanted – beautiful scenery, lots of choice of where to get married and the family-run atmosphere made it feel nice and personal. We made personalised coasters for our favours using branches of trees. We got them cut, sanded and added our wedding stamp and guest’s names. 44
