Tom and I choreographed it and we even managed to get a few lifts in! When it got dark everyone gathered outside for sparklers, which was amazing. We kicked off the disco with a flash mob dance including the bridal party and some of our family. We loved getting some time on our own to have a paddle in the sea and take some sunset photos. We’d all made flower crowns in the lead up to the wedding, which we wore in the evening; even Tom had one, as he didn’t want to feel left out! I wore my denim jacket to walk down to the beach in the evening and my bridesmaid Ellie had sewn Just Married on the back in blue sparkly appliqué. My friends’ singing group The Rooftop Trio performed a few songs for us before we went inside to cut the cake. ELOISE’S TOP TIP If there are traditions that you don’t want to stick to, do something that suits your personalities better. If you both feel at ease and enjoy yourselves, your guests will too! 38
