Your East Anglian Wedding - Feb/Mar 2020 (Issue 41)

We had an owl ring bearer which we kept secret, so it was a brilliant surprise for everyone when it flew up the aisle to deliver our rings. The old Victorian barn was beautiful with its high ceiling and original beams. The floral arch was a beautiful feature to get married under. So many people thought it was made with fresh flowers as they looked so real. My dad adores birds of prey so he handled the owl and gave the rings to the best man. Our guests were also able to take pictures with it after the ceremony. We knew Hunters Hall was the one immediately. We loved the long driveway, the fact that we could have the whole place to ourselves and 24 of our guests could stay over too. My Darlene by Rebecca Ingram dress had an off-the-shoulder jacket with elbow-length lace sleeves which I could take off for the evening to reveal the strapless gown with sweetheart neckline – essentially two looks in one. 50
