Your East Anglian Wedding - October/November 2019 (Issue 39)

My vision for the reception was to create an old English garden theme with an abundance of flowers. We also hung white Chinese lanterns and faux wisteria from the marquee roof and the effect was brilliant. We had old Victorian garden games set up on the grass outside the marquee which kept everyone entertained while we were having our photos done. Toastmaster Dennis Ruttledge helped coordinate the reception and he was brilliant! Cut flowers in glass vases and terracotta pots filled with succulents and blooms adorned the top table. “The team at Grange Farm were there for us throughout the planning process, giving fantastic advice every step of the way!” A carpenter friend of ours made the tree trunk stands for the tall centrepieces which our florist decorated with flowers top and bottom. We planted hydrangeas in a large trough for the seating plan with willow twigs for the table cards, which were attached with cute butterfly clips. REAL WEDDINGS 53 
