However It’s important to capture all those moments that you do and don’t see. From first thing in the morning to the “we do’s” until your feet hit that dance floor. My photography stems from my fun personality. keeping it simple. Never putting you in a position that makes you feel uncomfortable. I love capturing your natural smiles, and all things that make you... you... Editor Claire chats to Hannah, founder of Hannah Frost Photography What style of wedding photography do you offer? I have a fun, relaxed style that captures candid moments, including the important first kiss. I aim to be unobtrusive at each celebration and work with each couple to ensure they have time with their loved ones, as well as some precious time for each other throughout the day. I have been known to be the unexpected bridesmaid, helping with the bride’s dress and veil, providing extra hair grips, and topping up empty glasses. Based in Mid Devon, I cover mostly Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, and the South West but I would travel if requested. What’s your approach to wedding photography? I started out as a second shooter nine years ago, gradually working on my own bookings, beginning with small family shoots before photographing weddings on my own. I now have a great client base and love every minute of what I do. When I’m not shooting weddings, family portraits, pre-wedding and engagement shoots, I work as a nurse two days a week in an Emergency Department. Combining the two is incredible - seeing different sides of life really makes me appreciate what I have and what my amazing couples allow me to be part of. Weddings give me a small insight into the wonderful lives of people for one day, sharing in happiness, fun and laughter. I never thought I would be where I am with my photography today when I first started out. I feel so lucky to have couples and families trust in me. What do you love most about your job? I do photography for the love and interest I have in making people smile in a world that can be tough. Life goes by so quickly, and knowing I’ve created small memories for people gives me great happiness. hannahfrostphotography.co.uk instagram.com/hannahfrostphotography MEMORIES MADE FOREVER
