the evening, we had a delicious Cornish buffet that included pasties and cream tea, and we paid for the bar bill.” Tyler wore a dress designed by Justin Alexander. “I’m not normally an emotional person, but as soon as I tried that gown on (which happened to be the first one I looked at), I cried instantly,” she tells us. “Elaine, the boutique owner helped me select a veil, and I paired it with white sparkly shoes from Rainbow Club, gifted to me by my maid-of-honour.” Ryan and his groomsmen wore three-piece suits in light grey with checked patterns. “Ryan wore a different tie and our bridesmaids all wore blush pink dresses that tied in well with our theme,” Tyler says. The couple styled their reception with illuminated LOVE letters and a sweetie cart, and kept their guests entertained by Cassie, a caricature artist based in Cornwall. “We also hired a magician to amuse guests, and we had a tarot card reader for the evening reception,” Tyler says. “A photo booth, answerphone guest book and the live singer Toby Webb, who performed traditional Sea Shanty songs, helped to entertain our loved ones before the live band performed. They learnt songs that we wanted and got everybody up and dancing before the DJ ended the evening.” REAL WEDDINGS 27
