Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - May/June 2025 (Issue 81)

different coloured suits accompanied by buttonholes Emily made from dried flowers to complement the bridal party. The five bridesmaids meanwhile wore chiffon, sage green, full-length dresses. They all had half-up, half-down hairstyles with gypsophila to complement the bride’s. CELEBRATE IN STYLE Being a musician, Adam arranged for some of the guests to take turns in providing live music entertainment. He wanted his bride and their guests to be surprised by who was on stage – “It was magical,” Emily shares. There was a trumpeter, pianist, drummer, bassist, and guitarist who all came on and off at different times. They ended the evening with a DJ who Adam works with. MEMORABLE MOMENTS “People say a bride’s worst nightmare is bad weather, but our day had all the elements – scorching heat and the heavens opening,” Emily says. “It didn’t ruin our day in the slightest.” In fact, the newlyweds made the most of it to stage a Singing in the Rain number for their couple photoshoot! “Our photographer, Jaine, is the most talented, loving and compassionate person we’ve ever met,” the bride shares. “She knew us inside and out before our special day. Some of the most special moments of the day happened when she took us off for photographs after the ceremony.” EMILY’S TOP TIP “The lead up to the wedding is always the most stressful part, and on the day emotions will be all over the place. Just ensure you live in the moment and what will be will be. Embrace it!” Venue, Combermere Abbey, https://combermereabbey.co.uk | Photographer, Jaine Briscoe-Price Photography, https://jainebriscoe-price.co.uk Dress, The Alterations Doctor, www.facebook.com/Thealterationsdoctor | Suits, Moss – Cheshire Oaks | Wedding rings, Ernest Jones | Hair stylist, Lockett’s Hair Lounge, www.facebook.com/lockettshairlounge | Bridesmaids dresses, Wed2B – Liverpool THE COUPLE’S SUPPLIERS REAL WEDDINGS 37
